The Garrard County Sheriff's Office was alerted by Bluegrass 911 at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 15th, 2024, regarding a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a truck on US 27 (Lexington Road) at the intersection of KY 1845 (Rogers Road) in Garrard County.

The Garrard County Fiscal Court is scheduled to convene for a regular monthly meeting on June 24, 2024, at 4:00 P.M.  The meeting will be held at 15 Public Square, Lancaster, KY 40444. 

Garrard County officials have issued an immediate ban on open burning due to the ongoing extreme heat and dry weather conditions.
