Traffic Advisory: Roadwork to Begin on Hwy 27 in Garrard County

Garrard County Judge Executive Chris Elleman has announced that roadwork will commence on Highway 27, starting Sunday evening. The Allen Company will be undertaking paving work on the stretch of road from Rogers Road to Intersection 34, which marks the end of the four-lane section.

Motorists should be prepared for lane closures and potential delays throughout the week. Judge Executive Elleman emphasized the importance of planning ahead, advising travelers to allocate extra time for their commutes on Highway 27 during the construction period.

"We are finally getting this stretch of highway blacktopped, so please use caution and be respectful to the workers," said Elleman in his announcement.
