The Lady Lions found the back of the net twice on Thursday, Aug. 31, to down Western Hills 2-0 in Lancaster. Junior Nevaeh Ford-Willkom scored in the first half while sophomore Eva Elleman added a goal in the second half. Both scores were assisted by freshman Ava Warren. Garrard goalkeeper Erica Heibenthal had a much-deserved evening of relaxation as the Lady Wolverines failed to put a shot on goal thanks to the excellent Lady Lion defense.
