Golden Lions Break 8-Year Drought by Defeating Lincoln in District 45 Action

After being down 2-0 at the half, the Golden Lions clawed their way back to force overtime on Thursday, August 24. Less than two minutes into the five-minute extra period, senior Russ Carrier cleaned up a ricocheted shot and found the back of the net for the win. The victory is the first for Garrard County in district play since the 2015 team defeated Lincoln.
