Middlesboro Squeaks Past Golden Lions 14-13

After a 22-hour, 45-minute delay, the game between Garrard and Middlesboro was resumed on Saturday evening. Action picked up where lighting left it off on Friday night -- with the Lions down 8-0 to the Yellowjackets at halftime. A Cameron Peak touchdown and a pick-6 by Hayden Elleman, Garrard jumped out to a 13-8 advantage early in the third quarter. Middlesboro found the end zone once more in the fourth frame to secure the 14-13 victory.
