Action picked up where lighting left it off on Friday night -- with the Lions down 8-0 to the Yellowjackets at halftime. A Cameron Peak touchdown and a pick-6 by Hayden Elleman, Garrard jumped out to a 13-8 advantage early in the third quarter. Golden Lions Break 8-Year Drought by Defeating Lincoln in District 45 Action

After being down 2-0 at the half, the Golden Lions clawed their way back to force overtime. Less than two minutes into the five-minute extra period, senior Russ Carrier cleaned up a ricocheted shot and found the back of the net for the win. Council Appoints McCulley To Parks Board
