The Lady Lions competed against Boyle, Danville, DCA, Burgin, Mercer and Berea at Peninsula last Tuesday, Aug. 8. Sophomore Abigail Travis was the top performer for Garrard, placing sixth overall with a 56. Freshman Kylee Kobernick finished seventh with a 57 and senior Graicyn Kramer finished 11th with a 65.

Golden Lion junior Zak Dailey (33), senior Jefferson Morgan (77) and junior Alex Young (5) represented Team USA in Spain during the Costa Blanca Cup by playing for team Real Kentucky International.
The Costa Blanca Cup of 2023, one of the biggest soccer tournaments in Europe, was recently held in Benidorm, Spain, from July 3-8 this summer. It brought together players from more than 300 teams, representing 24 different countries from five continents across the globe to play in highly competitive games. Three of our very own Garrard County High School Soccer Players were able to experience this amazing event firsthand.
