Fiscal Court Meeting Scheduled For Monday, March 27 at 4PM
The Garrard County Fiscal Court is set to hold a meeting on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. at 15 Public Square.
The meeting will commence with a session for public comments, where the members of the public can have their say on any issue of concern. The court will then move on to discuss old business, including plats, aproval of bills to be paid for the month and the approval of court minutes.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Senior Center will also be a part of the meeting's agenda. Department updates will also be provided during the meeting, with each department head giving an update on their progress towards achieving their goals.
The court will conduct the first reading of the Jail Budget, which is a significant undertaking. The budget is essential in ensuring the jail is adequately funded and can operate efficiently.
Furthermore, the court will consider adopting all county offices under the County Employment Code Kentucky Deferred Comp Joinder Agreement. This move will ensure that all employees in county offices receive equal benefits and are treated fairly.
The meeting will end with an executive session, where the court will discuss sensitive issues behind closed doors. The executive session is not open to the public.
