Rumpke Adjusts Collection Schedule for Upcoming Holiday Season
As the festive season approaches, Rumpke has announced adjustments to its trash collection schedule to accommodate the Christmas and New Year's holidays. In a recent notice, Rumpke informed the community that services will be modified to observe these significant holidays, ensuring that their employees can also enjoy this special time of year.
For the Christmas holiday, there will be no collection on Monday, December 25, as the company observes Christmas Day. Collections typically scheduled for that day will be moved to Tuesday, with the rest of the week's schedule shifting accordingly, resulting in Friday's collection occurring on Saturday.
A similar schedule shift will take place during the week of New Year's Day. Monday, January 1, will see no trash collection in observance of the New Year, with the rest of the week's pickups delayed by one day, culminating again in the final collection of the week on Saturday.
Rumpke's announcement came with a message of goodwill, expressing hope for a wonderful holiday season and anticipation for another year of productive collaboration. Residents are advised to adjust their trash disposal plans according to the new schedule and join in the collective effort to ensure a smooth and efficient service during the holiday period.
