On the evening of October 27, the Garrard County Golden Lions faced off against the Harrison County Thorobreds in an intense gridiron match on their home ground. As the match progressed, the Golden Lions managed to bag additional points but were still behind at halftime with a score of 17 to 30. Despite their unwavering efforts to bridge the score gap post-halftime, the third quarter ended at 24 to 38 in favor of Harrison. In the final quarter, Garrard County displayed relentless spirit with Hayden Elleman scoring a rushing touchdown and Zak Dailey adding the extra point, but they ultimately faced defeat with the scoreboard marking 31 to 46 by the end of the game.
