Garrard County Celebrates School Spirit with New Lion Mural on Rooftop
In a display of school spirit, a new mural of a lion, the proud mascot of Garrard County High School, has been unveiled on the rooftop of the school building. The mural, which features a sleek black silhouette of a leaping lion, will quickly become a symbol of pride for the community, showcasing the strength and unity of the Garrard County Golden Lions and visible from the school’s brand new athletic facilities.
The project, which was created by Brandon Long, garnered significant attention as the image of the lion, spanning across the rooftop, is visible from various points around the school campus and the surrounding areas, making it a landmark in the community. This visual representation of the Golden Lions serves as an everyday reminder of the school's values, symbolizing courage, leadership, and the spirit of competition that the mascot embodies.
