Garrard County Sheriff's Office to Close Friday For Festival
GARRARD COUNTY, KY - The Garrard County Sheriff's Office has announced that it will be closed on Friday, August 25, in observance of the 2023 Garrard Rural Heritage Tobacco Festival.
Though the office itself will be closed, deputies will continue to patrol the area, ensuring the safety and security of the community. Residents in need of assistance during this time can reach deputies through Bluegrass 911 Communications by dialing (859) 792-3023.
In addition to maintaining their law enforcement duties, the Sheriff's Office will actively participate in the festival by setting up a booth. Families are encouraged to stop by, as the deputies will be distributing free goodie bags for children.
