Leavell Ridge Road Reopened

Sections of roadways are now open in Clark and Garrard Counties

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 21, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises that D7 personnel have continued to monitor routes due to previous heavy rainfall. This advisory serves as an update.

Motorists should remain aware of possible debris such as small tree limbs, and gravel that has washed out.  Never attempt to drive through standing or flowing water.

Signage is placed in areas that have high water and flooding. When the water recedes, and roads are deemed safe, “Road Closed” signs are removed.
