Basketball Season Kicks Off With ‘Meet the Lions’ on Nov. 16

Garrard County Schools is set to kick off the basketball season with a spirited "Meet the Lions" event on November 16th.

The community is invited to gather at Garrard Middle School to show their support for the Lady Lions and Golden Lions Basketball teams.

Doors will open at 6:00 PM, with a $10 entry fee that includes a chili supper.

Attendees will be treated to a night full of engaging activities starting at 6:30 PM, including player and coach introductions, a 3-point contest, performances by the cheer and dance teams, and spirited scrimmages between both girls' and boys' teams.

This event promises to be a showcase of athletic talent and school spirit, offering a taste of the exciting basketball season ahead.
