(September 16, 2020 – Danville, KY) – As part of a succession plan several years in the making, Greg Caudill announced today that he will retire as CEO of Farmers National Bank, effective December 31, 2020.  At that time, bank President Marty Gibson will become the organization's chief executive officer.

“My desire from the start of this process has been for this transition to be as seamless as possible," Caudill said. "Marty and I, with the support and encouragement of our Board of Directors, have worked towards that end. Remarkably, this transfer of authority has only happened eleven other times in our bank’s 141-year history.”

“It has been my distinct pleasure to be a part of this great organization for almost forty years, and an honor to have been CEO for the last eighteen years. My thanks go out to the many mentors, colleagues and co-workers with whom I have been associated over the last four decades. Without question, the management team that is in place now is second to none in the community banking world. I am confident that Marty and his staff are poised to lead Farmers National Bank to even greater successes in the years to come.”

The 8th oldest bank in Kentucky, Farmers National Bank has facilities in Danville, Burgin, Harrodsburg, Junction City, Lancaster, Perryville, Stanford, Liberty and Middleburg.
