Another COVID-19 Case Confirmed, Garrard Total Now At 10

Lancaster, KY (June 11, 2020) — After three new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Wednesday, the local health department has now confirmed another additional case on Thursday evening.

“Just as we expected to happen with the reopening, Garrard County has another confirmed COVID-19 case this week,” A statement from the Garrard County Health Department read. “This makes a total of 10 cases for our county.”

As with the other cases, further monitoring of close contacts will be conducted by the Garrard County Health Department staff.

The health department’s statement went on to ask that Garrard Countians take Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended measures to protect themselves and others from the spread of COVID-19.
