The Story Of James Garrard Shared By the Kentucky History Channel

Lancaster, KY (May 9, 2020) — James Garrard was the second governor of Kentucky and Garrard County is named after him.

Recently the Kentucky History Channel, a media network founded this year that focuses on the state’s history, recently released a short video that retells the life of Garrard and how he became Kentucky’s second governor, and first to live in the historic Kentucky Governor’s Mansion.

The Kentucky History Channel is an extension of The Kentucky History Podcast which is a narration and discussion of the History of Kentucky presented by James Pope and Jameson Cable.
