Water Leak Causes Low Pressure In Fall Lick/Gaffney Road Area

Lancaster, KY (April 22, 2020) - The Garrard County Water Association (GCWA) reported a water leak on the corner of Gaffney Road and Fall Lick on Wednesday, April 22..

According to the GCWA, the water leak has been fixed for some time now, though most areas in the vicinity could still have lower than normal pressures and white milky looking water which is just air in the water.

The water is safe for drinking.

Everyone that gets air needs in their lines needs to flush their lines to remove the air from their house, according to a message released by the GCWA.

“We are still out flushing currently to remove as much as air as possible,” the message stated. “If you still have air tomorrow call the office. And we can come out and flush some more in your area. Thanks for your patience during this time.”
