Danville Street Temporarily Closed Due To Sewage Leak

(Lancaster, KY - February 25, 2020 - 4:00pm) - Danville Street in the city of Lancaster is temporarily shut down due to a sewer leak near the public square, but is now reopen.

According to initial reports, hazmat teams were in route to help with cleanup along Danville Street. The Lancaster Fire Department was on scene helping in the cleanup and directing traffic.

The closure occurred at about 3:50pm and the street was reopened an hour later at about 4:45 pm.
