Culvert repairs at milepoint 3.7

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 27, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a closure for Crab Orchard Road/KY 39 in Garrard County. The temporary lane closure is necessary for culvert repair operations.

Monday, Nov. 27 through Thursday, Dec. 7 – currently (Monday) and until 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7

Crab Orchard Road/KY 39

• one lane is closed at milepoint 3.7

• the location for the closure is with the Gilberts Creek Road intersection

• a temporary traffic signal is active to guide motorists

• signage is in place to alert the traveling public

• motorists can pass through the work zone

All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
