Garrard County Football Ranked 12th in Class 3A RPI Rankings
The Garrard County High School football team has climbed to 12th in the latest Class 3A RPI rankings, of of September 30. The Golden Lions, who currently boast a 4-2 record, have secured a solid RPI of 0.77416, positioning them among the top teams in their class.
Garrard's ranking reflects their consistent performance this season, both offensively and defensively. They have been able to dominate their opponents on the ground, with standout performances from senior running backs Malachi Simmons and Cameron Peak. Simmons has racked up 593 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns over five games, while Peak has added 735 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns in six games.
Their strong ground game has been complemented by key contributions from quarterback Justin Parsons, who has thrown for 279 yards and 5 touchdowns.
