Garrard County High School's volleyball team faced a challenging defeat in their match against Rockcastle County, losing 0-3 with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, and 25-23 on Tuesday, September 5.

The team accumulated 19 kills, 10 blocks, 12 assists, 38 digs, and 8 service aces during the game.

In the offensive department, Chloe Middleton (#14) led the team with 7 kills, followed by Skylar Mullins (#13) with 6. McKenzie Martin (#7) and Alexis Lewis (#9) contributed 3 and 2 kills, respectively.

On the defensive end, Alexis Lewis (#9) showcased her blocking skills with a total of 5 blocks, all of which were solo. Skylar Mullins and McKenzie Martin each had 2 blocks, both also solo efforts.

Haleigh Fry (#26) played a critical role as a setter, contributing 11 of the team's total 12 assists. McKenzie Martin added the remaining assist.

The team demonstrated resilience in digs, accumulating 38 in total. Haleigh Fry also led in this area with 11 digs, followed by Chloe Middleton with 7. On the service line, the team managed to score 8 aces, led by Chloe Middleton with 3.
