Garrard County FBLA Students Advance to State Competition After Successful Region 6 Conference

Garrard County High School's FBLA program participated in the Region 6 Conference at Eastern Kentucky University on Friday, where 43 students competed in various individual tests and team events among 700 competitors from the region. The hard work of each member paid off, as several students have advanced to the State FBLA in April.

The Garrard County FBLA team members put in a great effort and made their school proud. Among the winners were Keannah Childress, Sarah Jennings, JT Parsons, and Kenzie Sowder, who secured the first place in the Bulletin board competition. Gracie Brogli, Kaden Clingerman, and Chloe Middleton also won first place for their remarkable Scrapbook.

In individual competitions, Kassidy Hunt won first place in Accounting 1, Abby Keith won in Business calculations, Alex Carrol in Health Care Administration, Jaylyn Grey in Insurance and Risk Management, and Mason Seagraves in Intro to Financial Math.

In addition to these impressive accomplishments, Garrard County FBLA students also placed in several other categories, including Advertising, Business Communications, Economics, Graphic Design, Intro to Business Concepts, Intro to FBLA, Intro to Marketing Concepts, Intro to Social Media Strategy, Sports and Entertainment Management, Supply Chain Management, and UX Design.

The third place was awarded to Caleb Meade, Ben Sullivan, and Clayton Whitworth for their Community Service Project, while Sydney Travis won third place in Advertising, Amanda Morrow secured second place in Business Communications, Alyssa Keeton in Economics, and Sierra Johnson and Alexys Patrick in Graphic Design.

Clayton Whitworth also placed second in Intro to FBLA, Hunter Caldwell, Colton Goodwin, and Ava Maxwell in Intro to Social Media Strategy, Austin Hounshell, Jabe Moore, and Ryan Wilson in Sports and Entertainment Management, and Woods Martin in Supply Chain Management. JT Parsons placed second in UX Design.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants of the Garrard County FBLA team for their dedication and hard work. They are excellent examples of the school's commitment to academic excellence and community service.
