EKU's Department of Agriculture is pleased to announce that Ms. SaraVard Von Gruenigen has been selected as their departmental distinguished alum for 2019.

The honor is reserved for special alumni who have distinguished themselves in their professions through excellence, dedication, and service.

SaraVard Von Gruenigen, formerly SaraVard Gibson when she was an EKU student, was an active and outstanding student from Lancaster, KY who graduated from the Agriculture department in 2006.  SaraVard pursued an agriculture degree with a business minor and is now employed by Central Kentucky Ag Credit’s Stanford branch, serving Lincoln and Garrard Counties.  There she works as a Senior Loan Officer.  SaraVard is active in her community, serving others in her job role as well as in the local Chamber of Commerce.   In addition, she and her husband Matt have their own farm in Paint Lick, KY where they produce cattle and a happy farm life for their young son.
