Crews from KYTC Districts 7 and 10 worked together to clear the route

LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 7 2019) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this advisory serves as an update.  The section of Leavell Ridge Road/KY 1971 between milepoints 2.3 and 2.8 is now open in Garrard County.  A portion of the route was covered with debris from an adjacent creek and has been impassable since Thursday, July 18.  KYTC District 10 provided the necessary equipment and operator to assist the District 7 crew with removing the debris.
